Meet the Doctor
Dr. Jacobs has been practicing dentistry in San Antonio since 1984.He attended Holmes High School, San Antonio College, The University of Texas at Austin and University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. He previously practiced on Village Drive for 27 years. On July 1, 2011 Dr. Jacobs went into partnership with Dr. Cam Janse to aquire Gentle Dental at 1402 S.W. Military Drive. He now practices full time at that location.
Dr. Jacobs has extensive experience in placing dental implants, removal of wisdom teeth, root canals and crowns. He has a fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry and is a member of the local, state and national dental society. Dr. Jacobs believes that there is always something new to learn in his profession, so he attends many dental courses each year. This continued study allows Dr. Jacobs to give his patients the very best that dentistry has to offer.
He is married to his wife of 28 years who is a Physical Therapist and has two daughters who attended San Antonio Christian Schools. His oldest daughter is a graduate of The University of the Incarnate Word, and is set to graduate from their School of Pharmacy in 2012. His youngest daughter is a senior at Texas Tech University and will also graduate in 2012.
